"It was clean and quiet. The lap pool was the right temperature and a pleasure to use for a morning swim. The restaurant Portlander downstairs was quite good. Service was excellent throughout the hotel. "

"The hotel itself, the grounds, gardens, and the pool were all very clean and well maintained. My only criticism is that the carpets were quite warn and should be replaced. The beds were very comfortable with good quality linens. The staff were all wonderful and as helpful as could be and the breakfast and dinner buffet were very reasonably priced when ordered with the room with a fresh omelet counter, fruit, yogurt, oatmeal etc. I would stay there again."
