"What a gorgeous property! Received an upgrade to a corner suite which was not only large but had spectacular lake views. Felt like royalty. Dined at Le Relais where both the food and service were excellent. The hotel is adjacent to a funicular and an easy walk to town. The staff are wonderful. A truly fantastic stay. "We were exceptionally happy with our stay at Hotel Daniela. The room was a clean and comfortable blend of new renovation/modern amenities and Swiss charm. The spa was beautiful and well-appointed. Phenomenal breakfast with friendly servers. Great location that is a short walk to the city center and train station (though transit is provided by the hotel). Overall it was a great stay and we would stay here again on our next trip to Zermatt."

"Luxury! The suite was beautiful and comfortable. Our patio had a gorgeous view of the lake and city. I would have loved to stay longer. Aside from being fairly near the train station and the Italian restaurant across the way, there isn't much nearby. We did hike the trail behind the hotel to the top of the mountain, and that was lovely. The receptionist was very helpful in coordinating and explaining our transit options to Lake Como."
