"We absolutely loved our stay at Cottage Yushin and would recommend that anyone staying at/around Lake Kawaguchi stay here as this side of the lake was very quiet and not nearly as crowded as the other side near Kawaguchi Station (the side where Mt Fuji is). "The staff spoke great English and were super friendly. We enjoyed both the public onsen options, both really different, clean, relaxing, had great bath prody, and were fun to experience. The traditional breakfast was the best we had. Only complaint might be that the mattresses were pretty thin, but we were only there one night, so it was fine. Overall amazing experience!"

"Lovely location and we were lucky enough to have views of Fuji out of our window. The rooftop viewing area was lovely to sit out on with a shady area for sunny days. Breakfast was two choices but we enjoyed it. We also stayed for an evening meal which was lovely and good value. Room was huge. "

"This place was amazing with a great view of Mt. Fuji. There is a convenience store within a 5 minute walk and Fuji Q Amusement park was very close. The house was clean and quiet and the staff was very helpful setting this up for us. Highly recommend this place. "

"Booked the deluxe unit, seems like only deluxe unit have roof top balcony, which have the mount Fuji View. Many eateries and convenience store nearby. For Drivers, the villa provided free parking. Most of the shops around the area has free parking. The rooms are clean, the living hall is huge. "

"La Vista is set quite high up so if you're coming on the tourist bus (red line near stop 17) like us it's a bit of a mountain goat trek up the hill. If you have heavy bags it would be advisable to get a taxi. But when you get to the hotel the view is awesome. "Very pleasant stay. Great view of Mt. Fuji right at the front door of the resort. Everything you need is provided. Best dinner ever with the BBQ they provided. We bought very fresh food at nearby supermarket and grilled them for dinner. Staffs were really helpful while I sprained my ankle the first night. Appreciated their help."

"The hotel was outstanding with great service and amenities. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The rooms are beautiful, spacious and with an excellent view. The breakfast, tea and cocktail was delicious. It was so good we didn’t bother going to other restaurants. Finally, it is close to the lake and ropeway and a 15 min walk to the station. I highly recommend this to my friends and family."
