"Surprisingly the room was very large! I enjoyed sleeping on the foldable foam mats on the tatami mats. Despite the old look of the lobby, the room was very clean and looked like it was renovated. Downside was that the area did not have lots of food options (and only opened for lunch and dinner times). It seemed like a ghost town! However, the hotel was close to a train station and 711. "The hotel is at very close proximity (5 min) walk to Fujikyu Highland train station with some options for dining in that area. Overall property is quite clean (seems newly built) and they have free parking in the back. The best of all is that when you open the window in the morning, the view of Fujisan is right in front of your face."
