"Good welcome, room was lovely and warm and bedding clean and plenty of pillows and spotlessly clean towels. Nice touch of biscuits and chocolate. Great location and good price. Sadly there were signs of mould around the door and bathroom tiling could do with a more intense cleaning of the grout as orange/yellow build up, plus I shared the bathroom with two very large spiders that were well established as had webs in corners. Having said this, I would use the Wellington again as really convenient...

"The staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. The room was extremely comfortable with a large, very comfortable bed. The bathroom was huge and amazing, double sinks, huge shower and a bath, very modern. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel and we were very happy with our stay there."

"Amazing! We were initially put in Room 3 which we found a little disappointing for what we had paid. We asked for Room 5 (our very favourite room) and we were delighted to change rooms (although slightly confused why we hadn’t been offered that one first?). "All good except TV in room 2. Husband needs subtitles to watch, hearing lose/ stroke. Couldn’t find anywhere in settings. I did ask for help and told someone would look at it. No one came back to me and it was just the same following day. "

"We loved the hotel as it was in a remote area, away from the hussle and bustle of city life- it was like stepping back in time. The views from the hotel are amazing Hotel was clean, the staff were welcoming and very accomadatinhg, and went out their way to help you. We will definateky be back, hopefully in the summer to explore more. "Stayed here after visiting Chatsworth House, the staff were very welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. Our room had been upgraded to a suite, which was a pleasant surprise. We ate in the bar, as we weren’t particularly hungry, again good, attentive service, and the bar snacks ordered were very enjoyable. We would return and also recommend Peak Edge Hotel to others. "

"The Red Lion is ideally situated in Bakewell,although there is no parking at the accommodation,there is plenty nearby. The only negative comment id make about the accommodation is the double bed is very small,other than that the rooms are very clean etc The town is very quiet,and there's not a lot happening on an evening "

"I don't often leave a review but this place was outstanding room was comfortable and spacious. The food is top notch the only thing better than the food was the service at the restaurant. We will be back and would recommend to all our friends."

"This was a quaint little cottage nestled a stones throw from chatsworth with incredible walks in the doorstep and a local beautiful pub mere metres to the side. The hosts were brilliant, the property was immaculate I wouldn’t hesitate to go back. Really grateful for the time I spent there and just brilliant "

"Very comfortable bed, room had everything you need at a great price, felt like really good value for money, breakfast great, good quality and nice decor. Room high quality.
