"This what a hotel should be about. Everything is seamless - good size rooms, comfy bed, thermostat that works and you can control, great shower, nice space to work and enough sockets and USB connectors (both old and new) in the correct places. Quiet, clean and comfortable. I can't ask for more. "

"Friendly and helpful reception and breakfast staff. Tasty breakfast. Hotel lobby stylish and everything clean. Room big and comfortable. Walls very thin so could hear people talking at 1am and then doors banging and hairdryers going from 6.30am onwards so didn’t manage a restful night unfortunately. "

"Really close to Sheffield arena it is just a bed and bathroom with a cheap tv no tea coffee making facilities in the room . Light was broken in the toilet reported it twice do I hope anyone in room 121 will now have a working light"

"We were so happy that we chose here, it's such a wonderful place to stay. We were in one of the superior rooms for 3 nights and it was extremely well maintained, very clean, very very comfy and the decor was devine. The service was superb all round, the breakfast was excellent with a huge selection of choices, and again the decor in the restaurant was very nice. We highly recommend staying here and will be doing so on our return to the area. "

"Very good location , looking a little tired now. Breakfast was very poor , the sausages had bits of gristle in which was a right out off. Overall breakfast is a 3/10. Parking virtually next door , although no discount offered by the hotel, so it was a little on the pricey side. Location 10/10 overall 6/10 (£156 for the night for one person - Dec 2024) "

"An interesting hotel in an excellent central location. Staff are very good and helpful but the breakfast room was so overwhelmed with people that there a half hour wait. Parking is an issue. It is a long walk to the recommended car park and a one way street was closed at the exit to the car park when we left - needing us to go the wrong way along the one way street. No information was provided by the car park company about this - the hotel was unaware of the issues. "
