"I loved the history a out the hotel. The room was very comfortable, although with it being as old as it is, the bathroom door squeaked very loudly which is not good while the other person is sleeping. The room above us had what it seemed and heard like a basketball game going on. Running, ball bouncing after 10:00 p.m. Security had to be called to quiet them down. The next morning around 6:30 a.m., it started all over again. So frustrating!!"

"The Maxwell House is a hotel with a lot of history. It's location is ideal if you ride the train or even drive and park while visiting Glenwood. Restaurants, pubs, pool and shops are all within walking distance. The hotel has recently been updated while still keeping the historic ambience. Since it is old there are a few things to know, no electrical outlets in the bathroom and several rooms have no exterior windows. Bedding is extremely comfortable. The hotel's location couldn't be more...
