"While I did enjoy my night at Microtel and would definitely recommend it, there are a few minor grievances that I have. The first one was that I felt that our room had the lingering spell of cigarette smoke, despite being a non-smoking hotel. We kept our room window open for a few hours in the afternoon and it seemed to alleviate the smell, so we thought all was good. "We really like this hotel. It was warm, charming, clean and the staff very nice. Great spots to eat right on location and full continental breakfast is included. However, there is no elevator, so if stairs are an issue. This may be a problem. Also, parking is free and behind the hotel not far. "

"Stacy, at the front desk, was amazing and greeted us as we walked in. Throughout our short stay Stacy even greeted me good morning and answered our questions. My interactions were more with day shift but all seemed pleasant. The room was clean and the bed was heavensent after the long trip. Overall, I would stay again if I was in the area. "
