"While I did enjoy my night at Microtel and would definitely recommend it, there are a few minor grievances that I have. The first one was that I felt that our room had the lingering spell of cigarette smoke, despite being a non-smoking hotel. We kept our room window open for a few hours in the afternoon and it seemed to alleviate the smell, so we thought all was good. "Overall the property and stay were fine for me. I noticed that the staff, while attentive if you needed them to be, were a bit gossip-y with one another, and one seemed to be working on resolving an issue with a pet adoption during their work hours which I found to be unprofessional and irritating to have to overhear while eating in the dining room. Otherwise, the stay was fine. "

"I like that I felt I had privacy, I even made two steaks outside on my portable grill that I brought along. It was groovy my girlfriend said no one has ever done that before, I felt like the Man."

"Convenient location. The beds are too soft and be careful in the bath tub as they are slippery. Asked front desk for bath mat but they had none. May want to bring one to prevent fallls"
