"The staff was attentive and helpful to our needs and made sure we were comfortable at all times. The game tours are amazing and I enjoyed seeing some of the big 5! I do recommended doing an afternoon tour as well as an all day tour. The food options were ok enjoyed breakfast more than dinner. The resort is wonderful and I was able to see a Hurd of elephants by the pool before sunset. I would recommend this place to others and stay here again if I am in Kruger! "

"Wow wow wow what an incredible experience!! Everything at River Lodge was just amazing, all of the staff are so friendly and the food is delicious, you get to pick from a set menu for each meal which changes each day and all drinks are included. The absolute highlight though is the safari itself, you get 2x 3 hour drives a day which go so quickly. "Picked imbali as a good place for a short 3 day safari. Food portions were large and of good quality . There are some areas where the wood at the lodge and around the property need some replacement but overall didn’t detract from a lovely setting . Watering hole for elephants is directly opposite the restaurant area so good for breakfast and lunch . Safari drives were good and Jayden did a great job for us . Would have been nice to have a transfer from local airport Skukuza included in the cost...
