"Nice cosy room with good kingsize bed, free use of the hottub outside and excellent breakfast. Very Nice restaurant across the street in Viking Village. Some rooms have clear view on the harbor with a chance of seeing the northern light above the accomodation. "Staff was very friendly and the accommodations very comfortable. Open areas to relax outside your room were well appointed. I would skip the ‘spa’ as it’s really just a series of saunas (nice but not worth paying the daily fee). Nothing in the area (other than the Blue Lagoon) if you don’t have a car, so plan on having to eat at the hotel restaurant for all your meals. Food was fine, but it gets redundant. "

"Visited over the winter season and the property was spacious and very clean. There was a gentleman who shovelled snow off my rental vehicle every morning before I even woke up. There were tractors working overtime to ensure the roads were clear of excess snow. The apartment is close to the capital and easy to find. Will visit again "

The horse farm is about 10 minutes drive; highly recommend. The breakfast is ok but convenient (no bacon, no scrambled eggs; grill 66 has that and is 10-12 minutes walk). I would stay here again. "
