"Was ok, not special and rooms were like hostel dorm rooms. Hot water wasn’t really working on first night. Good for short trips and when you are just using it to sleep. Safe was also open one day after locking it (we’re very careful with this) but weirdly nothing was taken and reception said they would look into it. Still not too bad "

"Love hotel halfway between the airport and downtown. The room itself was super comfy (with a lovely bathtub!) and the concierge was very helpful. "The Retreat gave a bona fide feel of luxury and quality service, not to mention the lagoon, aurora, spa and especially the ever existing peril of another volcanic eruption, combined to form a once-in-a-lifetime experience!
