"this guesthouse is in a convenient and good location for the airport with an airport shuttle also! lovely man who took us to the airport. the facilities such as shower and kitchen were good. beds where comfy and rooms big enough. the only downfall was the leather headboards were coming apart and the pillows and bed become covered in leather from this which is uncomfortable and itchy. "

"Hotel and staff were great! Never ate in the restaurant. Just like other places too expensive. Room was very clean and very roomy. Bathroom was good. The shower was not so good VERY SLIPPERY!!! The lighting was terrible! Very dark in bathroom and sleeping area. I would come back and I would recommend it. Once the renovations of the entry are done it will be beautiful! Transportation is great to and from airport!"

"Great hotel and spa, really well presented building and the rooms were clean, well equipped and quiet. The breakfast was excellent. The staff were very attentive and polite. OK it's a little pricey but well worth the experience overall. The only negative for me was from the Lava restaurant where I had probably the worst steak ever especially given it's hefty price tag."

"The staff is the best asset of this establishment. The front desk staff, the kitchen/dining room staff, the room attendants wer all kind, attentive and quick to help.10 across the board. The hotel was quiet and clean and inviting. Being nestled on an 900 year old lava bed and surrounded my the beautiful volcanoes made it even more appealing. I will definitely return and recommend The Northern Lights Inn."
