"I typically write reviews after completing my stay, but the experience has been so great, I’m writing it now. I came to Mumbai as a tourist for two days with my family. Hotel and rooms: Luxurious. The rooms, especially the bathroom, are very spacious. My parents said they felt they were staying in a palace of sorts. Food: The breakfast buffet is impeccable. I’ve stayed at many luxury hotels with a similar spread (in quantity), but none that tasted as good as Sofitel’s. The chefs need to take a bow. The best vada pav, waffles, and baked goods. Everything was delicious. Staff/service: Also impeccable - 10/10. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. The hotel had a complementary cocktail night and it was out of this world. The best drinks and appetizers. Location: I personally love BKC. It feels very modern. The hotel felt close enough to the remainder of the city - especially west Bandra. Just fyi - I took a taxi to get here from the airport and it was reasonable at 1200 rupees. Everything is so immaculately done here. I would definitely stay here again. "

"We stayed three nights at Taj Mahal Tower Hotel and it was a very enjoyable experience. The location of the hotel opposite Gateway of India was very convenient with shopping and extensive choice of food outlets in the nearby colaba area. The iconic Taj Palace hotel is connected and most public areas are shared by both hotels. The welcome ceremony conducted on check in is very unique and made us feel special. The staff are always friendly and accommodating from the front desk to the housekeeping and food and beverage outlets. The complimentary tour was very informative and it is highly recommended if you have time to complete. A little inconvenience is the lobby is always crowded with visitors not staying at the hotel but overall a very good stay with the usual Taj excellence which makes this hotel great. "

"Executive Lounge was probably the nicest one I've seen, and well-stocked. The room was clean and exquisite, however the shower was a little malfunctioning. Unfortunately no easy way to walk to/from the airport, but they provided complimentary service to the airport. Packed lunches too. Great staff! "

"This is a very nice hotel on the Mumbai waterfront. I got a room on the 30th floor that had a wonderful outlook of the ocean and coast. Lovely. Calming. The room itself was clean and nicely appointed with nice touches like live plants (which seem very rare in hotel rooms). Although I did not get time to use it, the pool area is magnificent. The waterfront walkway is exceptionally popular with locals and there was a cricket match at the nearby stadium which amplified the intensity around the area. So, it is a bit of a destination for locals but there are not a lot of foods services. The closest seem to be on Veer Nariman Road which is about a 20 minute walk. I liked the Mockingbird cafe if you are looking for a beer and light meal but there are other options. Overall, the Trident is a really nice hotel and I would happily stay there again. "

"The stay was truly amazing. The staff were so welcoming and always willing to go the extra mile to make the stay enjoyable. I had a problem with my suitcase zip. The hotel sent a man to fix it. Amazing, now no stress about a broken suitcase. The bar is amazing too, well staffed and great selection of drinks. The gym is well equipped. I am into weight training. Certainly didn’t disappoint. The pool at the Oberoi and the Trident were both great too."
