"A very large bright and breezy hostel. Focused happy and helpful staff. The building is a conversion not purpose built but you get everything you need. A good comfortable bed. Clean bedding. The third floor was a building site. A good place to hostel, near to the city. I walked to the river in 40 mins though buses were running at 5am ."

The next start over, Bermondsey, had several wonderful options for food and a fun night life. The staff here were also very helpful, polite, and accommodating. I highly recommend staying at Bermond's Locke for your next trip to London."

"Nice hotel, friendly staff. Tried the food at the restaurant and it wasn't great. Ordered a steak, asked for medium rare and was given a medium well. Tried the curry and it tasted like a microwaved meal but for £16. Property was looking quite tired but i suppose that's the charm. Wasnt bad overall."
