"Amazing hotel in the center of Xi Men, and most importantly, a free snack bar with all types of drinks, ramen, water, and chips! Service was exceptional as well, wanted to take some time to thank Ted for introducing us to all the hotel amenities and arranging the airport taxi for us. Love that they put together some thoughts into the room card package- with 2 post cards, an old city map, and a puzzle piece for you to design and decorate the hotel wall. "The service was as good as it possibly could, the staff was friendly and took notes of my personal requests. The room was a little compact but really good quality for the price. I love the bed especially. The drawback is the extremely strong smell of bleach as soon as I walked in the room. It was so strong I wasn’t sure if it was safe to stay in the room. I was too tired to make a complaint as I just flew half the earth and really needed a good sleep."

"I enjoyed my 8 days at Monka. Aside from friendly staff and the tourist attraction Longshan Temple is next to the hotel, the hotel location is convenient to shop for food and it is within walking distance to public transportations. I would give it 5 stars for property facility if the hotel’s internet speed was faster and have a safe for travellers to lock up their valuables."

"Room was well equipped. Stay in the new tower it’s great. Reception area and breakfast room is old. Breakfast is very Asian - cold uncovered foods and not much selection. Also they begin cleaning up the food 15minutes before end time and will kick you out abruptly at end time on the dot. Check in staff was friendly and helpful. "
