"Good place to stay in Phuket. Close to all of the action in the center of town with major malls close by. Even though a no smoking hotel, expect marijauna smoke since some occupants will smoke on their balcony. Do not pay extra for their breakfast buffet. It wasn’t that good. Starbucks and McDonalds close by."

"We spent 7 nights in this resort. Very safe and tranquil place to stay. It’s like an oasis with all the greeneries, trees, mini pond, waterfall in the property. It has two pools and a gym. Gym has reasonable equipment to meet your exercise needs. Buffet breakfast has sufficient options. Property is a bit outdated and can benefit with some maintenance in some areas however not a deal breaker for us. "What a wonderful hotel. Location was great, out of the thick of things but easy walking distance to the beach and all the action. Staff were fabulous, rooms were lovely and clean, good choices for breakfast. One thing to mention was the day beds by the pool, it seemed people would claim their spot by putting belongings on it and going elsewhere, otherwise couldn't fault it. Would highly recommend. "

"The Holiday Inn is an excellent hotel close to the beach and Main Street in Patong. Great facilities, spacious rooms and easy free parking if you rent a car. Friendly helpful staff. Only let down was the breakfast - average food quality. They have a cooking station for eggs - the chef there is rather grumpy. Also, he cooks a big batch of fried eggs which he puts on a plate, which goes cold, rather than frying them on request. Wasn’t happy that I asked for hot fried eggs. Maybe next time we will...
