"The Holiday Inn is an excellent hotel close to the beach and Main Street in Patong. Great facilities, spacious rooms and easy free parking if you rent a car. Friendly helpful staff. Only let down was the breakfast - average food quality. They have a cooking station for eggs - the chef there is rather grumpy. Also, he cooks a big batch of fried eggs which he puts on a plate, which goes cold, rather than frying them on request. Wasn’t happy that I asked for hot fried eggs. Maybe next time we will...

"The hotel is extremely run down. I had to ask to move rooms as my bathroom kept flooding with the toilet. The shower in my second room hardly worked and flooded out over the bath. The towels were stained and the wallpaper was falling off the walls. Location wise it's close to Patong Beach and about 20 minutes walk to Bangla Road. The only positives the hotel had. "

"The hotel and room were very well appointed and the room was super comfortable. Location is right in the middle of everything and a short walk from the beach. There is some maintenance clearly needed but for the price, the hotel and room offered really great value. The hotel has a lovely restaurant located on the roof and so I was interested in using it for breakfast. I found the breakfast menu somewhat limited though. Overall, it was a super pleasant stay."
