"The room was very clean and well maintained. It had all the necessary equipment along with extras like washer dryer in the room. We arrived early and they allowed us to drop off our bags before check in. They later delivered to our room. I highly recommend this hotel as it was tops. Also it’s right across the street from the main station, so plenty of whatever you need at your doorstep. "

"Booked a Deluxe Room for 2 from 13-17 Feb. Was surprised to be given a room on the second floor that was opposite the staff elevator and while it had a window, the view was of the back alley and Ji Guang Fried Chicken (it was kind of good as it allowed us to sneak down to buy the chicken when we saw there was no queue as JG can attract quite a lot of customers). "Convenient location and very clean. The entrance can be tricky to find. The room was more spacious than other comparable hotels in the area and very quiet for the on street location. The bathroom was a little dated. I appreciated the luggage scale in the lobby and the free laundry facilities. "

"We had a short visit in Taipei and desired a very central hotel. SkyGate surely fulfilled it being positioned right inside Ximending shopping streets. It's located inside atop a building that houses different entertainment like cinema, stores and restaurants. Very convenient. "

"We stayed 7 days in this hotel. The room is clean although it’s a little bit small for two persons. The staffs are friendly and helpful. The location is a credit. It’s convenient and easy to reach out to MRT and restaurants. The MRT is next to the hotel. I’ll stay there if I have a trip to Taipei again. "

"Overall a pleasant and comfortable stay. Close to main station with walkable distance. Spacious room. There was occasionally heard of water pipe noise but acceptable. Have to be careful when going in / out of the bath tub which is a bit risky of slip. Would be better if have handle. The bed is firm with great support with nice sleep "
