Lake District National Park Hotels with Breakfast

"Fabulous stay at the Westbourne. Friendly greeting from Sue and check in was quick. Room was excellent and had everything we needed. Location is perfect as you are no more than a 10 minute walk to the lake, restaurants, bars, and shopping, but hotel is on a quiet street in a good location. Breakfast in the morning was served by Andre and was really good. Would absolutely stay here again and would definitely recommend. "

"We stayed at the Wanslea on a short motorcycle trip to Ambleside. The rooms were spotless and the building is in an excellent location. A member of our party was staying in another hotel but the owners of the Wanslea were kind enough to accommodate him for breakfast. "Just back from a lovely overnight stay at Jericho’s. The location of the accommodation was fabulous and so central to the village and a leisurely walk to Bowness on Windermere. Our hosts were so friendly and helpful and we were called by phone on the day of arrival to say our room was ready which was such a lovely touch. The accommodation was spotless, so clean and tastefully decorated. We had a lovely room with everything we needed for our stay including a small fridge, coffee maker,...

"Last minute decision to stay over in Keswick after a long walk in the area. Craglands was a budget friendly option. Clean, warm and comfortable rooms. Attenttive, friendly host and superb value for money. "

"The location was very good & the hotel provided a parking permit for the pay & display car park across the street. Room was small which was fine but the en suite bathroom is not even a little bit sound proof so doesn't leave much to the imagination! The water pressure for the shower wasn't great & the water stopped intermittently whilst in the shower. Breakfast was nice but limited to full English, salmon & scrambled eggs or pancakes with maple syrup. "
