"Spent a few days here on a solo vacation. The resort is clean and on the smaller side. Definitely an older crowd as well. The area around the resort was nice with plently of outside food and shopping options. The food at the hotel restaurants was basic at best. Dont forget to check out the bar at the top of the lighthouse! The views are amazing and worth the climb up the stairs, or take the sketchy elevator. "

"Royal Solaris met our expectations for a convenient all inclusive experience with small kids. Room was clean and well equipped, location of room on ground floor was perfect for easy access to both the main pool and kiddie pool/kids club. Kids club was great for little ones to get some movie and activity time (coloring, bracelet making, painting). Kiddie pools had a few slides, good enough to keep kids busy for hours. Main pool is huge with lots of shaded pool chairs, have to place towels to...

"Staff was very friendly and attentive. Mantse at the rooftop pool was the best! We also enjoyed the beach club. Convenient location to downtown SJD as well as to many great restaurants like George’s and Flora Farms. "
