"It’s a bit faraway from the harbour if you are planning to walk. But if you are in a car then no issues at all. Use the co-op parking at the town centre for Whitby harbour visit. The attached pub was very good. Loved the fish and chips . "

"The Spa Hotel sits just above the gorgeous coastline with an easy path down to the seaside. It is a slightly steep hill up to the town center, but that's easily walkable. The restaurant was excellent and everyone so kind and friendly. I saw the most spectacular sunrise and sunset at the property. You can't help but fall in love with the Hotel and it's natural beauty in the seaside surroundings."

"Overall pleasant stay, presented well and clean. Amazing breakfast with friendly staff. Room was generous size. Our main complaints are the floodlight shining through the window all night with thin curtains, speaker in the ceiling downstairs that hasn’t been soundproofed so there’s fairly loud music playing when trying to sleep and lack of decent shower that’s also nearly impossible to set at a consistent temperature. "It's a really nice small hotel, the staff were really friendly and helpful, the breakfast was good, the room was really pleasant and the location is great. The only downsides were a bed that was too soft (for me) and the difficulty in finding a parking space nearby."

"Whitby is overpriced for overnight accommodation. Unless you are here for more than two nights the YHA is perfect. Great location (unless you don’t like walking uphill) beautiful views, free parking, basic but very comfortable beds and an amazing breakfast for £10 (2024) Excellent "
