"The staff was okay but seemed to be short staffed. The cable TV was out in the whole hotel 6 days we were there. We were finally told the hotel had not paid their cable bill! This was shocking and unacceptable in a 4 star hotel to have no TV reception at all for 6 days. "

"Great location being a short walk from major attractions. Generally the hotel is in great shape but is showing some areas of wear. Balcony room is a okay size for NY but the only complaint is both balcony rooms are apposite the elevators and can /do get noisy. The best thing going for the hotel is the staff who are excellent, friendly and welcoming. The hotel aslo have a preferred rate for black cars to the airports. We would be happy to stay again."

"We travelled as a family of 4 adults and were given 2 queen size mattress. It was adequate for us and comfy. Only gripe I had with the bed was that the bed frame was atop a metal base with sharp edges at the base plus the frame was held together by clasps which jutted out! "This hotel is getting tired and should be renovated. Our room was quite small and the sink wouldn’t drain properly. The location of this hotel is very convenient for people to see some of the best tourist sites in the city. Broadway, Times Square, the Empire State Building and Macy’s are all within a 20 minute walk. Penn Station is pretty much across the street. There are many restaurant's in the area as well. "
