"Hello, It was a very good stay in general, except for the breakfast. I will not comment the diversity of the breakfast but how nice was an employeee. I know at 9.30 the breakfast is over, but I arrived at 9.15 and there was nothing to eat! I asked for something, he came around 9.45 with something to eat, I asked for another thing to eat, and he said it is already 9.45 and nothing is possible anymore! "Two night stay. Room itself was large and clean and the bed/mattress was excelent - no complaints. However, be warned that the restaurant becomes an event space/night club for non-guests at night and the parking lot is overwhelmed. We came back from dinner at another venue at 8:30 p.m. and we had to circle the lot several times to find a spot when someone finally left - at the far end of the lot. "This was the perfect hotel for my one-night stay. I was just there to see two Broadway shows and an exhibit at the Met, so I didn't need anything more than a clean, comfortable, safe place to sleep. "This place is a gem! I can't believe how spacious the room was. We travel with two kids so having extra space makes such a difference and so rare to find in New York city. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is great. close enough to times square/theaters to walk but far enough to be quiet."

"I love the hotel, but I think they need to review their long term maintenance procedures. The ancient heating unit in my room would turn off once a day (I was there 3 nights). Staff was helpful and showed me how to reboot it, but I don't think anyone documented my problem. Also the bathroom was spotless, but the inside of the bathroom door really needed a paint job. Great hotel just needs some TLC"

"Small, clean, efficient place to stay convenient to midtown manhattan. It is loud but what else would you expect in midtown manhattan. The location feels very safe and despite the name of the hotel, rooms are private and there is even a lounge area with water, tea and coffee in the morning. Great for the price. "

Comfy but can be better!

"We travelled as a family of 4 adults and were given 2 queen size mattress. It was adequate for us and comfy. Only gripe I had with the bed was that the bed frame was atop a metal base with sharp edges at the base plus the frame was held together by clasps which jutted out! I had the unfortunate incident of grazing against it twice wand caused a cut both times. I’ve mentioned to the front desk and the lady apologised and said she will notify the management about it. Besides that the rooms were small, I guess it’s expected from what I read so it’s acceptable. Requesting room cleaning and also extra drinking bottled water was done efficiently. Overall we were quite ok with our 5 night stay and had a good sleep! "
