"located at walking distance of the sepilok conservation center for orangutans and sun bears. basic rooms, but clean and spacious. breakfast is very limited but tasty. The Mango Restaurant offers delicious local and european dishes. There are no other facilities, also no other bars or shops in the neighborhood. "For the area of Sandakan that this hotel is in this is a pretty good option if you really have to stay here! I would not recommend the area at all. The staff here were very attentive and friendly. The room was adequate but the pillows were horrendous! Just lumpy lumps of hard sponge! "The accommodation and food was nice, we were let down by the tours and communication. The night walk was disappointing as we walked very close to our accommodation, so was not really the jungle walk we were expecting. However the river cruises were good, apart from being let down by our boat breaking down within the first 10 minutes of our tour and being stuck in the water for over 20 minutes.
