"This is a 5-star property. Through no fault of the property, we had a disappointing experience. In our travels through Florida, this was the one stop where we were to golf. It's the sole reason we booked the property. We were there 2 nights and one full day and it rained most of the time. Driving range, practice greens, and course was closed. "The hotel is celebrating its 100 anniversary this year and if you like historical sites, you will enjoy your stay. The breakfast is also included in your stay and it was good, also. Right on the beach too! We will stay there again. My only negative was that our room was right over the courtyard that had a wedding celebration. I doubt other rooms could hear the crowd as well as we did. "

"I stayed here for 9 days after Hurricane Milton knocked out the power at my home. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the place. It is a little bit old and the facilities reflect that, but everything works and seems to be well maintained. Pets are welcome with a small deposit. Laundry facilities are pretty good.
