"Fair out of season stay... On arrival at the front of the hotel it looked closed as it had no outside lighting, not even the hotel sign was lit, some might have been concerned, even walked away, given the untidy, distressed look to the hotel which is somewhat dire. The hotel’s location proved to be wonderfully convenient for the town centre, local public transport connections and all the other amenities this seaside town had to offer. "The accommodation was great - modern and clean. Hot tub excellent. Good base for exploring Cornwall. Pool closed early (5pm) which was a shame for us as an evening swim would have been nice."

"Very nice hotel in a nice location with amazing views across the Fal. Most important to me was the dogs were made very welcome. The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was really very nice but best suited for a smaller appetite. Great place to stay. Helios."

"I stayed here with a group of colleagues on a multi-day business trip and really enjoyed the stay. We staff and the service was excellent. We ate in for supper on both nights as it was convenient and the food was great. Breakfast was very good with the best bacon I have tasted in ages - I can recommend the full Cornish or the bacon bap - heaven!"
