"The apartment is a home from home and has everything you’d need! We were two small families so a house shower room would have been good rather than having to go in to one of the other bedrooms for a shower etc not a massive deal if your one family and there is an extra toilet! Comfortable beds, great location although did get a little noisy at times! "

"Check in was very easy. Our room was upgraded to a suite which was amazing. The person at the front desk walked me to the room to show me which keys opened which doors and made sure we were happy with the room. It was definitely above and beyond. The building was older, but it’s England and it was to be expected. The room was clean and bright and had everything we needed. We also enjoyed a wonderful breakfast the next morning. Would definitely recommend. "

"I could not praise the staff here more, despite my room not being available till lunch that day, they were more than happy for me to come down earlier to pick up my room key and drop off my bags before a day at university. Not only were the staff welcoming and the hospitality warm and comforting, the staff often went above and beyond to help, and were happy to engage in conversation. "Tucked away in a quiet little corner of the bay I wasnt sure what to expect. The inn is lovely, clean and welcoming. The staff were very friendly, and couldnt have been more helpful. The food and drink on offer were delicious. The room was great, well appointed and perfectly clean and tidy. I will definitely return!"

"Hotel was well decorated in the main areas - looking fairly newly redone. The service was good. The only issue is the quality of the breakfast buffet is terrible - i mean really terrible. We arrived at breakfast around 9.30 - the eggs were like rubber, sausages the cheapest you can buy, bacon like rubber, instant coffee only. The toast was the highlight, which speaks volumes. Otherwise a great stay."

"Everything was v clean. We stayed in the Wotter Room on the second floor. Yes it could all do with a bit of a paint in patches but the room is charming and huge. The view was amazing - we could see the fireworks in Plymouth the first night that we stayed. Had a fab Nepalese curry on Wednesday followed by an Indian pudding which was delicious. Steak on the second night. The hotel is on the edge of Dartmoor but close enough to the local tourist attractions. We will definitely return. "

"Brad was a lovely host, we were in the area for a family funeral and he made our stay stress free and very comfortable. Tavistock town centre is a quick walk along the road where you can buy local produce and gifts etc. locals were lovely and friendly as well. The hotel was very clean and tidy and the bed was very comfortable. All facilities were great."
