"Our first room was ideal for me and my mum , but the tv didn’t work , so there was no hesitation from the staff and they moved us straight away and wow we got upgraded to a suite which was amazing , my 85 year old was crying when she saw it and the view was overlooking the sea .. plus we had 2 tvs:) Thanks to the staff for making our stay extra special "

"Gorgeous cliff top view of the sea from hotel room. Same amazing view from the dining room at breakfast. Continental only but we found it satisfying. We stayed in a room in the first floor which had up to date decor. Comfortable beds. A little bit of dust in places but you cannot completely remove all dust. I would say that you need a car to access south beach. Overall we were happy during our one night stay. "

"I'd read the previous reviews before booking here so this is an up-to-date review now for everyone! 1. Over a few days, I found out from random people that the area DID have a dodgy reputation so possibly the previous reviews are fair. "Excellent attentive service from the owner Joe at all times nothing was too much trouble and a few minor issues were rectified immediately to our full satisfaction Would highly recommend The Meltham Guest House if you are looking to stay adjacent to the North Bay close to all the attactions that it has to offer Will definitely be staying again and myself and Jeff would personally like to wish Joe every success for the future Many thanks for a perfect stay between Christmas 2024 and New Year "

"We stayed at The Central because of its convenient location for the Stephen Joseph Theatre. We were lucky to find parking directly in front of the hotel and purchased a discounted parking permit from the hotel. There are plenty of parking garages nearby as well. The lady on reception was friendly and helpful. The room on the third floor was a decent size with all the basics including an ironing board and iron.
