"As a visiting tourist, I was unaware that this was a motel, I was expecting a hotel with rooms within the framework of a principal building. In addition I was also under the impression that other public rooms would be available to access. In fact there were non. Overall the room provided was clean and the one member of staff I actually met was friendly. Overall I left after two nights disappointed with the booking. "

"Booked this place because of the reviews and overall it was a pleasant stay. Beds were super comfy and receptionist that called me was very polite and lovely to deal with. We stayed the weekend of the Aussie PH for 3 nights, we were only at the hotel to sleep. It was cleaned daily with new towels. Close to the shops, good aircon unit and spacious for the cost. "The owner is currently renovating the premises. Has a great feel for a hotel and pub. Service is great with an enthusiastic team to support the bars and bistro. "We really appreciated the free upgrade to the spa suite with a gorgeous view of the harbour. It was within walking distance of the jetty and its activities as well as the coastal trail. The place was clean and quiet. Some of the fixtures were a bit worn but we understand that an upgrade is coming in 2025. We would definitely stay here again."
