"This is the best hotel I've experienced in Italy. The location was incredibly central and pretty much ideal. The staff were most attentive and kind, and the room (even though I booked one of their cheaper options) was stylish with many thoughtful touches. My largest regret was that I had only booked 3 nights there; I wish I could have stayed longer. The only area for improvement I could think of is around the breakfast. "Porta de Castro was a wonderful stay. The only thing is if you want quiet, the street it is located on is busy and quite a bit of honking. Didn’t bother me, popped in some ear buds at night. The breakfast and staff were amazing!!! I felt very welcomed and the staff helped me with any questions, plus lots of suggestions on what to do in the areas. Very convenient to walk to almost any place, including the train station. "

"I love this hotel so much I keep coming back. Located in a quiet area near the ocean, this newly rebuilt hotel is clean with a classy modern sophisticated look. The rooms are spacious, some come with swinging doors leading to a balcony. The restaurant serves a tasty breakfast and filling dinner in the evening with excellent professional service. The neighborhood is quiet at night and for the most part, safe. Only a 15 minute walk to the train/bus station and about a 10 minute walk to the center...

"Very clean and safe and walkable area. Staff Emiliano and Vino are always there to help and guide you when needed. Vino is very informative and knowledgeable about his area and eager to share with you. They are always approachable and meet any need you might have. "Fantastic boutique hotel/BB. The owner was very friendly and helpful, and the welcome was great. Our room was large, clean and well appointed. We were overlooking the street below, with a cute balcony. Noise levels were fine, even with live music and a vibrant nightlife on the doorstep (just make sure you close the door properly!) We'll be back to Palermo, and we'll be back to Boutique B&B Vintage too! "

"Mein Sohn und ich haben uns in diesem Hotel sehr wohl und ruhig gefühlt. Das Personal war zu jeder Zeit sehr hilfsbereit.
