"What do you get for £69 quid these days? Not a lot. The staff are excellent, the bed is comfortable, and the room is tired but clean. Breakfast is served from 7 to 9, with plenty to choose from and cold. The evening meal vast choice if you like Indian but only fish or scampi as an alternative. "I enjoyed my stay at this hotel very much. As usual i found the mattress on the bed too hard and the duvet too heavy and hot. I always carry my own pillows and a spare throw so I was able to lay on the top on the duvet doubled over with my throw over the top which solved both problems. As this is the start of a season, might I suggest the sills between the secondary sliding windows and the opening windows be cleaned. It would give a better impression. "Stayed for two nights in a room only basis. Check in was quick and easy, room decent, and the pool / gym quiet. The room doors don’t close quietly, so you’ll likely be woken up by others closing their doors. The bed itself was comfy and the room had everything that I needed. Overall nice stay. Would have loved to have had time for the golf course!"
