"When arrived no one at reception (we arrived at around 4.30) had to hunt for someone. Room on first inspection was nice but dust in places, window would shut properly (hubby had to use curtain tie back to stop it opening). Bathroom had a seweage smell to it so had to keep door shut. No plug in the sink and shower didnt have much pressure and wouldnt stay in position. Only got 2 sets of towels for 3 people as was in family room. "Overall a good stay at Hockey House, friendly staff, excellent food and a good night's rest. My only concern is that a superior double is nothing more than a standard double just a slightly larger room. No chairs or stool to sit on just a bed, a table with drinks making facilities and a standard bathroom. I would stay again but would ask to see the room first before accepting it as my stay."
