"BIG PROBLEM! I have stayed at Hotel du Port many times and love the hotel. However, the hotel did not honor my Hotels.com reservation; they explained that They are no longer accepting any reservations through online companies. I was informed that I will need to get a reimbursement from Hotels.com. since Hotels.com already charged me for night, but apparently never paid the hotel. So I was forced to pay for the night, directly to the hotel, after Hotels.com already took my money. I paid twice...

As a woman traveling alone, safety was the most important quality I was considering when booking a hotel, and this one lived up to its reputation and even surpassed it. "It was walking distance to the World Bank office where I had my meetings. The dinner buffet at Novotel next door was nice. The shared lake facility was great for evening walk to refresh. "

"The experience at Novotel was great. The food service was excellent. However, The people who clean the rooms, stole my New iPhone. I would suggest that next time, the visitors should you them safe in their room to lock their belonging."
