"Great place for a one-day California Adventure trip. When I checked in, the staff was unsure about the $50 resort credit as part of my reservation, but Leo the manager confirmed the credit within a few hours. The only downside is that some of the furnishings are starting to wear a little bit."

"The property was very clean and the rooms are well kept. It was nice having easy access to the marina and walking around if you’re on vacation or looking for a quick getaway, this is definitely a great hotel. My only constructive feedback is that the water pressure in the shower is very weak. I would stay here again."

"We were in town for 2 days and The Garland was the perfect place for us. The room was great, the free shuttle to Universal was awesome and I loved the vibe of the entire place. Every person on staff was helpful and if you dine in the restaurant we highly suggest the 12 minute Biscuits (Bacon & Cheddar), The Roasted Chicken and the Tomahawk. The S'mores dessert was delicious. "

"A great little Desert getaway spot.The Suite was an amazing value with the in-room mineral pool. The outside pool was nice, but very crowded and a bit noisy. The description says not to bring any personal speakers however they do not play much music by the pool and from check-out time to check -in time the staff is busy knocking on doors, pushing around carts and cleaning so it gets a bit noisy and distracting. After check in time until the pool closes it gets very crowded with families and kids...

It's still a convenient location for shuttling to the Disney parks and Anaheim / Garden Grove area with a unique view of back end of Disneyland / It's A Small World / Fireworks show from across the freeway in their poolside rooms.
