"Beautiful place in great area. Lots to do with many different eating options. Swim up bar was great and adult only. Other areas we quite when you didn’t want noise. Staff were exceptional as was front desk and room service was quick"

"Property was amazing and we really enjoyed our stay. It was beautiful, but the staff definitely got less stars because a lot of them they don’t speak good English and specially in the buffet area. The staff is terrible. They take your order and they never come back so on our last day I had to call this guy and tell him about it and then he started speaking perfect English he said OK ma’am I’m sorry about that and today you will have A1 service. Not sure what that meant but that day we did get A1...

"This place was great for a week stay. Food was okay for what it was in the buffet. Tacos were about the best thing. The sit down restaurants were all so good. The only problem I had was the BEDS!!! They were so hard and every day my wife and I woke up to an aching back. Which is why it won’t get 5 stars if I could it would be 3.5 because sleep and beds are important. We could’ve told them about it but then we’d move rooms and I’m sure the beds would be the same so we didn’t want to move again. "

"We had an incredible experience! The resort was outstandingly beautiful and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. All of the dining options and pool services were fantastic as well. Overall I would definitely recommend this resort and can’t wait to come back!!! "

"The staff were probably the most friendly group I've ever been around. It's an older building that has been well maintained. The only problem was the evening meal. It was hard to get a reservation. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at Playa Grande. The location of the resort was perfect for us .. close to the marina and downtown and right on the beach. Keep in mind you can't swim in the ocean there however there's a really nice public beach a 10 minute walk away. Our suite was very nice, the kitchen well equipped and overall very clean. The resort has several pools to choose from so they were never crowded and we generally had no difficulty finding a lounger even if we weren't there first thing...
