"This is a family run hotel in a Victorian building. Our room was really large with a high ceiling with a sea view on the ground floor. Staff were very helpful and bent over backwards to resolve a couple of small issues with the room. The hotel has a spa and also provides evening entertainment even in low season when we visited. "This has to be one of the best rooms I have stayed in for a while. And puts some of the major luxury hotels to shame. I stayed in the 'Portland' room which is very quirky and well equipped. Lots of nice touches like hot chocolate. biscuits, bath robes and slippers and a fully equipped kitchen with dining area and a comfortable sofa. It even had a washing machine ! The rooms are next the pub which does great food and a nice breakfast. The staff are very friendly. Thanks. A wonderful stay."
