"There lock on the inside of the suite door was broken and the frame area around it was damaged like someone tried to break in. The sink was not draining properly, clogged. Just letting you know. I guess in Canada especially in BC where everyone is cash grabbing, this motel is reasonably priced and the staff are very friendly, also what choice do we have! You still get no service even if you pay $500 per night "

"Lovely staff, very friendly and helpful. This is a basic motel, a little dated but always very clean. Nice, quiet area but lots of shopping close by. A real deal at the price. I have a small dog, and we stay there every time we pass through Kamloops."

"Just off the highway so quick and easy to get to. The rooms are clean and spacious. We didn't have time to check out the pool and hot tub but nice to know its available. What I really liked was we forgot and envelope with cash in it and the manager was nice enough to go check and found it. They held it for us until we were coming back this way. Definitely recommend this motel. "

"My review is mixed for our stay at the property. We were locked out of our room after the front desk staff had left for the evening. The emergency number did not work. We ended up having to drive back to town to find another hotel for the night with our luggage still locked in our room. The morning staff member was amazing though and because of how we were treated by her, we would consider another stay. The grounds and our room were beautiful, it was unfortunate we couldn’t get into our room....

"Hotel was very nice, underground parking handy in the cold of winter. The restaurant is also nice. Not much around the hotel but we did find a couple of places we could walk to for food. The hot tub was great after a day of skiing. "

"If you are in Kamloops for hospital visits or appointments the location is great. Denny’s restaurant right beside. We were down for curling so the location was excellent to get to the Kamloops Curling Club."

"Didn't seem like the bedside table was cleaned. Sandy feeling that scratched my cell phone when I slid it across. No extra roll of toilet paper. No TV controls. Lady at front desk dealt with that quickly and efficiently for us. Toilet kept running unless you jiggled the handle several times. Breakfast could be improved. In spite of all these issues, we enjoyed our stay. Have been to the Plaza many times. Great location. Friendly staff. Easy check in and check out."
