"Great area in the heart of Accra with excellent service. The only concern is Expedia should incorporate the contact number of the agent that has to be called to assist in check in. Reaching the hotel before a you learn that you have to contact Expedia for an agent to assist you to check in is not helpful; very frustrating especially when the agent’s phone is off. That was my experience but above all, I had an excellent stay."

"It was very nice, the room was quite clean, and I didn't encounter any issues. It's a bit annoying that the air conditioners stop working as soon as you leave the room. The breakfast is a bit lacking, there's no buffet, you get a tray with food to the room. The 'dining room' was under renovation while I was there, and the pool, when I first arrived, had green water. But on the third day, they cleaned it and made it clean again."

"What wonderful, personalized customer service. A good place to stay if you are looking to be in the center of everything and experience the beautiful views and vibrancy of Accra. The grandeur of Oxford represents the essence of Ghana, with its heavy gold details in the design from the rooms to the shared spaces. "Overall great experience! Morning breakfast and nightly room service was a plus! Didn’t really care for the standard rooms as each smelled like mildew and had a few mosquitos flying around. Best way to go is to get the Executive suites. Those were very cozy and comfortable! Great hotel and stay for our first trip to Ghana! "

"Good for short business trip. Breakfast and restaurant have good choices and good service from staff. Wanted to use the outdoor pool but water was not chilled and water appeared to need a clean on surface. Had luxury room on 1st floor, room was spacious. Bed was a bit uncomfortable at times, mattres seemed to dip at the edges. "

Excellent Experience, LBH is a first-class experie

"I had a few days in Accra recently and stayed at the LBH. I was extremely pleased. LBH have a great facility, it is meticulously clean throughout, pools are kept up daily, grounds maintained, staff are excellent, the decor and upkeep of the facilities are well above average for many hotels, the room AC is cold, the food menu / buffet options are plentiful and taste very good, the multiple bars and venues are great, the beach access is great including a private beach area away from the hawkers, security is excellent! LBH is where I'll be when I return next time to Accra. It's an oasys."
