"Had an amazing time at this unique, very tranquil resort. The food and drinks are double normal prices but we found other options in town. The beach, overall vibe, and daily yoga in the stunning ocean-view shala made it all worth it. The beds were very comfortable and the shared washrooms / showers were good - lots of hot water. "Being charged $20 to enter the national park for an over $200 a night reservation seems silly. Property is rustic and charming if you love outdoor showers and the sort, ocean front is amazing. "The staff is very friendly and able to communicate with by text/phone. The building is secured at night. There is a juice/coffee bar conveniently located downstairs. The pool located upstairs on the rooftop is very clean & private. The building is located within 2 blocks of several great dining options and really great local bars with reasonable prices. "Lovely jungle courtyard staff was very helpful and upgraded our room because they were slow which was so nice. Large room with semi private patio roof top pool was excellent with panoramic views. The margarita wasn’t very great but other than that we had an excellent experience "

"Liked that the property was easy to find, large area so didn’t feel cramped at all. Was right in middle of going either downtown Main Street or going to beach. Vanessa was easy to talk with and great with directions. Only issues, I had was the gas detector ( Don’t put spray on in apartment! )"

"For some reason my reservation didn't show up in the system when i arrived, but the staff handled it professionally and provided me an upgrade so I was happy. The room was comfortable, with nice linens and other nice touches, like a variety of teas, q tips, and fancy shampoo and conditioner. All of the staff were very nice, and spoke perfect English (and other languages) and provided helpful tips for my visit. "The Kimpton Hotel is a true gem! My best friend and I stayed here for a birthday getaway, and it was fantastic. The rooms were beautifully decorated, and the breakfast was delicious, especially the made-to-order omelet. There were plenty of electric sockets available to charge our devices. The hotel is centrally located, making it easy to access shops, dining options, and tourist sites. We received excellent recommendations for beach clubs, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. The rooftop bar offered the best sunset views it’s a must-see! We loved the complimentary bicycles that allowed us to explore the town without needing a car. Additionally, the hotel recommended a great transportation company that kept us safe and flexible with our travel plans around town (GoMaya.Mx). "Great stay at Ikal Tulum! We had a treehouse with a private plunge pool which was lovely, the bed was huge and design of the bedroom was awesome. The bathroom is outside, and we were a little worried about privacy when showering etc as we could see our neighbours on their balcony, but this is the design of the room. We did a complimentary kundalini yoga session during our stay which was very peaceful. There is a restaurant on site which is quite expensive, but in line with every other beachfront hotel - around $290 for a cocktail and $390 for a burger etc. The breakfast was amazing though! Overall the facilities are really great, with a wonderful stretch of pure white sand just moments from the hotel - we would definitely return! "
