"We had the best time at Serendipity Lake house. Chathuranga was warm and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. It’s so peaceful and relaxing, and the food is delicious. "This hotel is a big con / rip off. THERE IS NO ROAD TO THIS PROPERTY. Must cross the jungle for 1/2 kilometers Don’t pick unless u have a Motorcross bike. "Clean room with a new big bathroom. The pool was big and the garden is very nice. I don’t know why some reviewers write that its dirty, wasn’t our experience at all. Maybe other rooms are different but ours was very clean and excellent value for the Price."

"The property is located in a well kept garden next to a small but beautiful beach. Rooms are well kept and relaxing. The staff are fantastic and always willing to accommodate requests. "Bartizan is locted on edge of Galle Fort. It has a rooftop with seating which has great sea views and more importantly a breeze in the swealtering heat! Breakfast amazing, with nice choices, staff supet freindly and very polite. Well worth booking a room with seaview or partial seaview rather than courtyard room ( although these are fine). Would recommend this hotel. "

Excellent Food/Setting and Accomodations

"Excellent/wonderful. Beautiful facility/setting and the staff are wonderful. The breakfast was the best I had in all of Sri Lanka. The dinner choices were wide ranging an excellent. The bed was very comfortable. Excellent water pressure with plenty of hot water. About a 10 minute Tuk Tuk ride to the Fort. Highly recommend. "

Hospitality at its best in a world class resort

"The property is in an incredible location with breathtaking views. Even though it’s on a public beach, it still felt super exclusive and private. The staff were absolutely amazing at making us feel welcome and taking care of us. The hospitality was top-notch fromthe duty manager, to every single staff member, including the restaurant staff who went above and beyond to pamper us. One of the chefs, was incredible. They made dishes that weren’t even on the menu, and they tasted way better than anything I’ve ever had before. In the end, they were the friendliest and most hospitable staff we’ve ever had, and they made our stay absolutely incredible."
