"Beautiful Geoffrey Bowa- designed boutique hotel set in a beautifully tended garden. This is our second stay & it didnt disappoint. The staff remembered us after 4 years! "excellent staff who could not do enough to make sure your stay was as you would want it.Pool was wonderfully warm and gardens were exquisite and very colourful. Trains were noisy but interesting and after a while you did not notice them."

The property had lots of relaxing lounges including library and a small gym. The pool had sun loungers that could be transferred to the beach if preferred. "Nice hotel, but feels a little unfinished. The food was great, as well as service. The bay is pretty but the beach is small and waves are too strong for swimming most of the time. The suite with a pool doesn't feel as private as I imagined looking at the pictures. The pool is visible from the public beach and the rooms upstairs."

"We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel! The welcome was amazing!!! The rooms were beautiful. The pool was amazing! It’s right on the beach! The food was exxxxxcellent!!! We will stay here again. One of our favorite hotels in all of Sri Lanka! Madhushan helped us with our bags and was very helpful! Krishmal cleaned our room and it was SPOTLESS!! So clean and beautiful! We really appreciated each of the staff who served us. We will be back! Excellent job! "

"Hikkaduwa Beach Hotel is located right on the beach, the ocean is just a step away. We couldn't have asked for a better location. The restaurant is open for limited time frames but room service is available throughout the day. Loved the view from our room, to get the sea view you have to book premium sea view. Comfortable beds and pillows. The staff was courteous and helpful. The Wi-Fi was spotty especially during peak usage but the view, the sea, sun and sand make up for it. Food service maybe slow at peak times but you need to understand that food is made to order and NOT premade. Breakfast is a delicious spread of Sri Lankan and Western dishes, with a good selection of breads, fruits and juices. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality at Hikkaduwa Beach Hotel."

Great hotel on the beach.

"Enjoyed our one night stay at this beach hotel. We had a lovely sea facing room with a balcony . Breakfast was buffet style and had a wide variety of food. The hotel has a small infinity pool and beach loungers with shade. We appreciated being able to order food and drink from the beach. The hotel has a gym and spa and friendly staff. Only slight downside, the hotel is a little out of the main town. Overall, a great place to relax."

"We had such a pleasant stay at this property. It was so calm and serene. With a stunning view of the fort. There's a small safe area to swim in the ocean as the rest of the sea is quite dangerous. A nice warm pool that offers the same view and peaceful vibe. The dining option for us was a paid dinner that had authentic Sri Lankan food. It wasn't short of any flavour and they did not cut corners - this is coming from a Sri Lankan. The next time I come from Canada and need to visit Galle. I will stay here again without hesitation"
