Furniture as was stated before was dated but we loved the place and would definitely stay there again. Very peaceful and quiet, lovely grounds."

"Matteo is a fantastic host and the property is simply amazing!! Both the design and location. But I think the best quality was how relaxing and homely the place felt, it really did feel like a luxury private home rather than a guesthouse. The views over Pedra da Gavea and Sao Conrado were breathtaking, and again Matteo was a fantastic and conscientious host. "I liked everything about this hotel. Staff came out to our car to greet us (Sam). He insisted on carrying our luggage to our room and parking our car. The proprrty is well designed, lovely pool, great dining room with emphasis on local cuisine and a veautiful beach at our door step. I would return to Vilka Rasa anytime but for a longer stay."
