"Visited to support our son running the Brighton marathon. Very warm weekend, both in terms of weather and people, especially Hotel staff. Hotel is close to train station, but did not hear any trains. Close to town centre & amenities this basic hotel is well run, staffed and exceptional value for money."

"Steve provided a friendly, informative and quick check in service before showing us to our room. The room was in very good order and spotlessly clean. It was adjacent to the parking. We ate and drank in the restaurant which offered a reasonably varied menu at a "middling" price point. We didn't have breakfast there but it looked good and was quite cheap. Altogether a very enjoyable overnight stay."

"Pros: good location, nice sea view, decent price Cons: room sizes are not uniform, so recommend attention to what you receive. I requested one on a higher floor, based on other reviews about noise from the bar, but the only one available was basically the size of the bed, so it was a bit challenging to navigate. "Hotel room was good; beds were comfortable; plenty of storage space. Bathroom was clean and good. Room was clean; it’s aesthetically not the nicest, but was only staying for a night so wasn’t concerned. The gym is very decent, and the pool is nice. Hot tub isn’t really that hot. Nice to also have a steamer and sauna. All this for a very cheap price - was a very good deal! "

"This is a nice hotel located perfectly for our theatre trip. Friendly staff, lovely clean room with a sea view, decent food (we ate from the bar menu) and a nice bar. Excellent value one night stay. We will definitely return."
