"This is the place we have stayed the last 3 times we have come to Nashville..because of all the amenities they offer (self parking, location to all things we love like food, shopping, bars, etc, super friendly staff—bar, check in, breakfast area, housekeeping, the complimentary drinks and snacks every evening and breakfast in the morning)! What more do you need?? Oh yes, the bed, pillows, room, free popcorn and coffee, live music and restaurant open in the later evenings for after hour dinner!...

"Rooms were beautifully appointed and very comfortable. I had a lovely view of the capital. The window in my room was drafting when closed and did not provide sound insulation from the outside, but neither of those issues bothered me. The service at the hotel was top-notch throughout my stay. I believe one of the people behind the desks name was Hope. She was especially wonderful making everything happen."

"The Russell is a super short walk to The Basement East where we saw some music so this was terrifically convenient for us. The church is beautiful and our room, albeit quite small and snug, was quiet. We will stay again when/if we are ever back in the area."

"From the time I arrived to the time me and my friend checked out, everything about the stay was remarkable. Exceptional customer service, fast and courteous Valet parking (although semi pricey), delicious on location dining, beautifully designed throughout the hotel and room, and a great location with beautiful views. Would not hesitate to recommend this stay to anyone for a truly wonderful experience in downtown Nashville."

"The hotel is located in a great area. lots of great things to do in walking distance and not far from the free way. PARKING Parking was the only hitch. You either have to pay hourly to park on the street (2hr limit) or pay for valet, which I would assume is common in major downtown cities. This would have been fine but the young gentleman doing valet who was offering a discount (via his cashap) to park. When I declined he had an attitude with me. Other than that it was fine.
