"It was a nice get away, we were the only guests when we were there, both Breakfast and dinner were great! Very peaceful and beautiful to be just amongst the trees. We drove up the road, and got some snacks and drinks. There is a fridge in the common area, to keep the beer cold. A great place to see another part of Jamaica. Getting there is slow going, narrow and windy lots of potholes to avoid on the road, but worth it once you get there. "

Communication was difficult, dependent as it was on phone and internet (which I did not have) for virtual access, especially in the dark of late evening. "The location of the property is excellent if your desire is to be in nature. I was memerised by the skyline which would change rapidlyfrom sunshine, cloudy fog, where all you saw was grey, the charcoal, followed by torrential rain...amazing to just observe."

"Amazing views and the host offered me great insight into the area and history of Jamaica and Kingston It is NOT close to the actual city. I would NOT use a rental car to commute there. Use a cab or Uber only. It costs about 10-15 dollars (US) each way to the Half Tree area and a little more for other popular sites. It was clean and I felt safe the whole time"

"I had a bit of difficulty finding this place. Firstly, this apartment is not in New Kingston, but rather in a place called "Mona". Therefore, the name is slightly misleading. I booked this location and was eventually moved to another location, which was quite nice in the end, however, the security that is at the gate for this apartment complex needs to be aware that there may be guests checking in here that booked through Expedia.
