"This is a beautiful historic hotel. Mustafa Ataturk stayed at this hotel as did many world known celebrities. The hotel had preserved the rooms that Ataturk used and now show them as a museum. "The Fairmont Quasar Istanbul was a great hotel to stay at while I vacationed in Istanbul. The hotel is located off of a busy freeway. If you happen to have a room that faces north like we did, you will hear sirens from emergency vehicles quite often, however Istanbul is a very large busy city, and most hotels that you stay at would be similar.
