"This is a beautiful old hotel that has been remodeled, and I think is nicer than some newer hotels that I have stayed in. Seperate kitchen living area than the bath sleeping area. Excellent mattress and pillows, great night sleep. Fantastic shops and brewery on the ground floor."

"Great getaway and beautiful river venue - good consideration for large gatherings close to DFW; Friendly and knowledgeable staff; however, we stayed on a Tuesday night and staff left at 5 so no access to recreation cabin, ice, lodge until next morning. Close enough to Mineral Wells to get dinner and drinks at the few places that were open on a Tuesday evening. Fishing dock was pleasant and strolling the grounds a unique experience. Bed just okay.
