"I booked this property because of the ability to cook for my niece. Unfortunately, although the host was responsive and sent a technician, the electric kitchenette didn't work, I was able to cook only once! "While at the hotel the fob programmer for the keys broke down. We were not provided a key for the room until the last 12 hours of our stay. We had the security guard open the room for us every time (he was nice). When you check in the request you wear a bracelet. There is no other reason other than access to the hotel for the bracelet. "Clean and very convenient hotel, right on the Playa Norte malecón. Wonderful, helpful staff. Note that there is a lot of traffic and banda noise; you get used to it after a few days. This is typical of Mexican holiday destinations - bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper. Great place, but the rooms are definitely not soundproof!"

"Nicely kept property with open-air interior giving it a jungle feel. The small kitchen serves great food and margs. The staff is wonderful. We stayed on the third floor and there isn’t an elevator, so be aware as the stair climbs are a bit tiring. We would stay here again."

"Despite the poor reviews about communication with managers, we actually got into our place right at 3:00. It might have been a challenge if we hadn’t been right there waiting. It was a quaint and comfortable place, that seemed to have an interesting history. Very close to main plaza. Kitchen had the basics. It would have been nice to have 5 gallons of filtered water available and at least one kitchen towel. Overall a comfortable stay."
