"Very relaxing location. "

"I have been to Japan many times over a period of 10 years. I have stayed in so many hotels I can not count anymore. Straight facts. Hotel is very reasonably priced. It is in a great location. Short taxi ride to many restaurants and many attractions within walking distance. The restaurant is great. One day I did not fell like going out to dinner. I spend 8000 Yen per person on the dinner buffet...At first I was reluctant...but they had Alcohol and beer included. All you can eat and Drink. It was amazing. My booking included breakfast and lounge. Lounge Was amazing. Turns out there was a lot of people to check in that day. No problem. All you can drink beer and Sparkling Wine...plus many other choices. they do have evening mixer as well, 2100-2300. That one has hard alcohol and beer...plus regular beverages and snacks...The onsen is good but it could be better. I love the outdoor onsen. They do have one. But it is not so open. Onsen is a great bonus so I am not complaining. Reasonable Price and comfort make it great for couples. IDK about other travelers. But If you like Onsen and Drinks...This is a place for you. 16000 yen might be a bit much for 2 people for dinner. But Gyu Kaku ran me 15800. But you have to add 2100 yen taxi to get there and 3000 to get back. Considering that. Buffet with Unlimited DRINKS!!! Is a good Choice. Would definitely stay again 10/10 would recommend. Like I said. Pragmatically it is the best Hotell I ever stayed in."

"Clean modern hotel with its own personal bath in the room. Sadly the customers do not wear clothes and are naked in the communal bath and not modest . The bath in the room provides a very good alternative. We did not have time to enjoy the breakfast, but it seemed pretty lavish. I would strongly recommend this hotel."

"Grounds and the buildings in general are very beautiful. The furniture is off-putting. Might be trying to create a “Meiji-era” feeling but it’s comes off strange. The use of all the dark colors is not cheery. A more modern touch would improve the experience. Staff were great. Expedia should improve communication about this property though, as we did not make any dinner reservations in advance, it was a bit of an issue. Lucky for us, it wasn’t so busy. We liked both onsen spas and had the most wonderful facial/massage experience."
