"The Jewel Paradise Cove was shutdown prior to our trip and Expedia accommodations sent us to the Hilton Rose Hall. We were unsure of all that was an upgrade but nevertheless we enjoyed ourselves. Bring about $500 for excursions offered at the hotel and don't expect the spa part of resort and spa to be free. "This hotel is clearly outdated. The tiles in the room were cracked and stained, the tub was cracked and peeling, the shower sang every time you turned the water on, the toilet ran on and on, even after jiggling the handle, the staff barely speak to you unless you speak first (this includes staff in the dining area, front desk, cleaning lady, pool guy, and at the bar), the food tastes like it was sitting in the freezer for months, defrosted in the microwave and served, the "security key card box"...
